ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance Standards

At Sunova / Thornova Solar we consider these standards very important and strive to continuously improve our operations and reduce our global impact when producing solar cells and modules.

Highlights:

Environmental:

Our continuous efforts to increase energy efficiency pay off! We were able to reduce the amount of purchased electricity by 52% per MW produced, thereby reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 38% per MW produced each.

Social:

in 2023 we increased the female to male employees’ ratio by 6% to 45%. Furthermore, we increased the number of suppliers conducting social and environmental assessments by 250%

Government:

In accordance with our expansion we conducted corruption risk assessments for the 2 new operational sites. We continue having no incidents of corruption and trained 100% of our staff accordingly.
